A couple of weekends ago, I went home for Isaac's first birthday. After playing with the boys for most of the afternoon, I spent some time rolling around in a diversion ditch taking pictures of dandelions...
My dad is bringing the dump truck back from the field...
Since I was last home, my dad and brother got destructive again. The corn crib and two more trees are now gone...
Sara was trying to figure out what I was finding so interesting in the diversion ditch...
Lot's of dandelions with different focuses...
The tree next to the spring down by the pond is always nice in spring...
Among a sea of trees...
Another tool of my dad and brother's trade...
Corn husks seem to make their way into the back orchard...
A farm across the way...
The buildings need painted (again)...
Sunday morning was more than a bit rainy, but I took Sara for a walk anyway. We were both soaked by the time we got back home...
These two geese seemed to like to hang out on the crest of the hill. They were not happy about Sara and I walking around...
Home sweet home...
Where my nephews live. I seem to spend most of my time there when I'm home...
Another neighboring farm...
A wet dandelion...
After walking through this worked, wet ground...
My shoes weighed about 50 pounds each. Ok, maybe not quite that much, but they were very heavy...
Rounded the hill and heading home again...
