Ice ice

We have gotten a lot of snow in northern Virginia this month and now it is starting to melt and then refreeze. A lot of icicles...

  1. hello Jan
I really like your photos. I like how you find beauty in the smallest places, like in these pics, or those of leaves you posted some time ago. They are very subtle and delicate, and make me think you have sensibility.
I love these, love all the different shades, and the lights in the ice. The last ones of that dark ice...what is that? something tells me it must not be that nice as liquid...but it's awesome like this .
Funny how im not really sure where northern Virginia is (except it's in the US), and í'm sure you dont know where Cordoba is, haha. But I hope you had noticed I've followed your blog from the beginning. It just happened..I had just started with mine, so I thought I'd follow yours, makes no sense, but Im glad I did.
I hope you dont mind, since I've noticed it's quite personal, talking about your family and etc.
I think it's cool...your life is so very different from mine, and yet this is some sort of a meeting point...the internet...hmmm

    hope you're ok
all the best from Argentina and...
    Thanks for the pics :)

  2. Hello,

Thank you. I appreciate your kind words. The last pictures of the dark ice are actually the same icicle as a couple of the earlier images. They were just taken as the sun was setting behind them, so the light was very different.

Yes, it is true. I don’t really know anything about Cordoba, but I believe you’ll be headed into fall as we are approaching spring. I don’t at all mind you following my blog. I decided to start it during a transition in hopes of reminding myself to stop and reflect and look around a bit more often.

    Thanks again,
    Jan
