Yesterday morning I went for a hike in another regional park. I really don't know why I don't do something like this every weekend...
This park has some hills and some large rocks...
And some trees growing on top of some large rocks...
This log looked like a human profile to me. One with something crawling on it...
Something seems to be crawling on this broken log too...
A magical leaf suspended in mid-air...
I'm not sure what this is...
Eventually I sat on one of the big rocks and watched the water go by. Little whirlpools kept forming and dissolving...
Near the rocks, the water was forming all sorts of fascinating patterns...
Sitting there, I also noticed some water droplets left on the plants from last night's rain...
I was impressed that horses in the park could read signs...
This downed log had really nice insect trails in it...

Bull Run Regional Park
There are a lot of great parks around here, so it is about time I start visiting a few. This morning I roamed around Bull Run Regional Park. The trails follow a couple of runs (Cub and Bull) through the woods. It was really wonderful to spend some time in the great outdoors...
